Biography

Gaye Grossman began her art career custom painting furniture and murals. This grew into a decorative paint finishing company that she ran for 25 years serving private homes and businesses throughout New York and Connecticut.

In addition to her studies at Grand Central Atelier in New York City, she earned a certificate with honors in botanical illustration at the New York Botanical Garden. She has exhibited her work in the ASBA Annual International shows in New York and California, the Society of Botanical Artists Plantae '21 Exhibition, the Carter Burden Gallery in New York City and the Connecticut Cancer Foundation in Old Saybrook, CT.

Gaye is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists and is a Fellow of the Society of Botanical Artists in Great Britain. She is a co-coordinator of the Tri-State Botanical Artists of New York Botanical Garden and an instructor for the New York Botanical Garden’s Botanical Illustration Certificate program.
